Today we went downtown and helped decorate for the holidays at a homeless shelter. We decorated a Christmas tree, hung lights, cut out paper snowflakes. I think it was a good experience for all of us. I didn't photograph them, but there were many homeless all around us. Sitting at tables and sleeping on the ground. What a humbling experience. Thank you Meghan for inviting us!
What a wonderful thing to do! God bless you for being willing to give of yourselves like this. I'm sure it was a great experience for the girls, too. These things make us all thankful for what we do have.
